Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead parts in the TV show 'Murder One", 'The West Wind in Plain Sight', and Loaded. Her work is also well-known due to her movie roles in 'Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True Criminal' and '1408'. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family without any entertainment connection in any way to her family tree, is the child of a clinical therapy professional and an owner of an ice cream parlor. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in 1990, she was accepted to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program in Comparative arts. The career of the actress began at the young age of 12 when she was in a stage version of the Christmas musical 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. After her performance on stage she was offered the roles on small-screen and large-screen productions. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and most versatile performers. McCormack has three daughters along and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
