Cindy Crawford

CindyCynthia Ann Crawford, born on 20th February 1966, is an American model, actress and television personality. In the 80s and 90s she was one of the most popular supermodels and an omnipresent presence on runways and magazine covers along with fashion shows. Then, she began acting and launched a company. In her sophomore year of high school, she got an email from a local clothing store for modeling jobs but was later informed that it was a trick played by two of her fellow classmates. Crawford was one of the high school girls hired by a different store, and also had a fashion shoot. In her senior year local photographer Roger Legel, whose duties included photographing another college girl to be that week's coed in DeKalb Nite Weekly, asked to take her picture for the publication; the result was Crawford's debut cover. She was enticed to pursue modeling by the positive feedback and photo she received. At first, she worked at a small agency. Elite Model Management sold her to the agency just after signing. When she was 17 years old, she entered Elite's Look of the Year contest and advanced to the national finals.
